Tools Demonstrated

Velepec Router Bits, Bowl Savers, Abaco Sink Clamp, Super Scraper
Tonight’s show was a continuation of Episode 37, Just Bowls. Ken and John continued with cutting out for the bowl and routing in the round over detail. They also demonstrated removing a solid surface bowl. A new Bowl Saver tool was shown tonight as well.
Segment 1

The new Bowl Savers were introduced in this segment. The Bowl Savers holds the bowl cutout in place while you route eliminating the possibility of the cutout dropping into the bowl or on the floor. Velepec router bits were covered as well.

Segment 2

Ken and John routed out a vanity bowl and completed the round over. The difference in bit angles was discussed in this segment.
Segment 3

Segment was exciting as Ken and John removed a solid surface bowl from the deck. They introduced the Abaco Bowl Clamp in this episode using it for something other than installing bowls.
